Embarrassing, but Lately I've been noticing peach fuzz on my face a lot more than I have before. Carli Bybel (a very popular youtuber) just uploaded a video talking about shaving your face, and a lot of women have been talking about doing it lately. Since I'm having such a problem with the peach fuzz on my face, for example when I put foundation on now it's causing it to look cakey and bad. So what is your opinion on women shaving their face? Is it really a myth that the hair will grow back darker and thicker? The only reason that I'm on edge about doing it is because My hair has a tendency to grow back differently after it has been shaved. I've never shaved my face before so I'm pretty nervous to 😁

It's absolutely a myth that the hair grows back thicker and darker. I use an eyebrow razor for my upper lip and I don't see any problem with it.

I can assure you, because I've been doing it for months now, that hair doesn't grow back thicker or darker (:

Depending on which way you shave, it might feel incredibly stubbly. But that is due to the angle and how the hair lies on your face. I wax my upper lip and unibrow and my results are definitely worth the pain, in case that helps.

I would suggest threading or waxing over shaving, you'd get a better result and hair will grow a lot slower

It is a myth however. It feels thicker because, when you shave the hair it grows back blunt. Where as if you use wax or pluck, it is pulling the whole hair. (Shaving just takes the point of the hair off) I learned this in cosmetology school.

I'm not sure of the mechanics but every time I've shaved anything at all on my body it has grown back twice as thick and dark as all heck even if it was bleach blonde before. My advice would be to not shave, but hey maybe everyone is different.
