wait. Are pore strips not good to use?

I'm kind of new at this whole thing and I've been intently reading all of these things on here and I've read some people say pore strips aren't the best. Why not? What do they do?

They rip the debris out of your pores and leave your pore open to be filled up by more junk! Extractions like that is meant to be done over time so that the walls of the pores aren't damaged and your skin will heal properly. Pore strips create a vicious cycle!

I have tried them and I can't say they helped me at all! They hurt and in the end they r left open so all the dust particles in the air will clog your pores again!

It all depends on how fast your pores get clogged up, if you have real problems with pore clogging ect. If you have trouble with your pours then they are for you, if not then as Marie-Claire M. Said the cycle will form.

I don't have blackheads on my nose, but I expected them to do SOMETHING for me. any time I've tried, nothing comes off on the strip.
