ok, so I was at ulta tonight and saw fake bake flawless, original, mousse, xtreme, and a gel. Based on reviews, it seemed that people either loved or hated xtreme. I really wanted to try it because I like being DARK, but I was scared with some of the bad reviews. The mousse didn't have great reviews, either, but that was the only one (if I remember correctly) that didn't have alcohol as a top ingredient, which is what drew me to it in the first place. I ended up buying flawless, but I took a loooong time deciding between that and the original lotion one. The original had pretty good reviews, too. I bought the face tanner, too, because since I've been using the clarisonic, I figure my face is going to be difficult to keep tanned.
My question is, has anyone used anything besides the flawless one? That's the one I always hear about, but I'm interested in hearing results of any others. Thanks! :)

I have used fake bake original for tanning my legs for a regional dance competition. It was recommended to me by my hair stylist and I worked really well, I put on 3 coats over a span of 2 days then the next day I took a shower. It practically all came off, but luckily I could fixed it so it was back and dark by the next day for the competition.

wait, you said it worked really well, but almost all came off in the shower? lol, to me that means it didn't work! or am I misunderstanding?

Well for what I need, it had to be dark for a day then I needed it to come off so I didn't have dark legs and the rest of me normal, so I guess the fact it came off was bad but the coverage was so good I could fix it. Also the instructions said you should take a shower like the day after you applied it and a little would come off, but maybe with three coats it just seemed like a lot came off. Idk but I like it still, for long term though it might not be the best. It does fade nicely though when you are done with tanning.

So it works great for me. I don't think it would fit what your looking for though.

ok, thanks for clearing that up Nicole!
Gen.. I'm just torn lol. I just watched a youtube review where the girl was saying she prefers the original over the flawless. I guess it really is a matter of preference and different people will like different things, as with anything else.
Anyone else used any of the others?
