I gave birth to my son 5 months ago, and I know postpartum hair fall is a real thing... However I am literally going bald :( So I either need some good suggestions on where to get gorgeous head scarves or products I should try. Currently, I don't wash, style, or even brush my hair because SO MUCH of it just comes out in clumps. Feeling pretty nervous here, I'm only 25! Posting pictures in a minute or two...

Have you found any pretty ways to hide it?

I would just use a volumizing shampoo n conditioner the 1 I'm using now I'm quiet happy about it and I don't keep my hair without washing it for 2 max 3 days the oils take away the volume from the hair n it looks flat n you could clearly see the baldness :-(

My hair fell out really bad like that too when I had my son! I felt awful about myself. It only came back with time really. Within a few months baby hairs were coming in. I feel it isn't quite as full as it once was, but it's not noticeably thin at least. I also had a widows peak before and now it's naturally permanent gone, which I like. I'd be patient. I prob would look into some sort of extensions if I had it to do over again. I take vitamins with biotin and have no issues. I think they help a littlez.

After my hair started thinning to almost baldness, I went to my dermatologist. I had many tests done on my blood. I found out I have iron deficiency anemia. My dermatologist gave me a list of vitamins. Everyday I take 2 Biotin 10,000 mcg, Iron Slow Release 45 mg, Lysine, Vitamin D3, and B12. If you don't want to take the vitamins find shampoos with Biotin. I use the OGX one. Drinking green tea also helps.

Thanks ladies. I do take Biotin and just an everyday women's health vitamin... But I'll definitely look into upping my Biotin & see if that helps at all. If not I'll go see a doctor.

Maybe try prenatal vitamins and give it a few more months. I know that sounds impossible right now but give it a while and if it doesn't begin to improve see a doctor for sure. I'm assuming you've had blood work pretty recently so they probably would've caught a deficiency but if you're breastfeeding you may have developed one very recently.

Biotin has been used by many people who want longer hair but it can also be dangerous if you don't need it. there are many vitamins out there that promote hair growth such as evening primrose oil but I would highly suggest getting blood work done by a doctor and having yourself fully checked if your deficient in anything. I do not recommend taking random vitamins without consulting a doctor first.
