Hey! So I have a terrible habit of popping my pimples so I got a product similar to Neosporin to help the scabs and scars heal. Will this also help pimples to go away before I pop them? Thanks! I just don't want to have to use too many products on my skin and if this can work as an acne cream then I'll do that rather than use more products thanks!

So I am NOT a skin expert by any means, so please don't roast me if I'm wrong. But, whenever I used to get a particularly large blemish, my mom would have me apply neosporin and cover it with a bandaid. It seemed to work pretty well

Well, I have to agree and disagree. Is it a treatment for acne? Absolutely not. But when you break the skin and a scab forms, you have created a wound. Is Neosporin safe for use on a wound? Yes..and covering it helps healing. In my own experience it is effective when covered for torn flesh that has gone from pimple to an open wound.
Should you pick scabs and pimples? No. That's often the source of serious scars. You would do best to treat your acne than pick at it, but if you have created a wound...then I feel it needs to be addressed differently. If not with Neosporin, then an antibiotic cream.

Test patching and taking your skin sensitivities into consideration is always important.
