Dress pants and a blouse or a nice dress (not a party or sundress, a nice one). NO JEANS, they're very unprofessional, leggings are debatable.
Heels or flats, NO SNEAKERS.
Curl/straighten you hair (whichever you prefer) or in a sleek bun/ponytail.
Keep the makeup simple and natural.

It depends where you are applying to. I would always dress one step up than they expect. If they expect you to wear jeans and a shirt, maybe try wearing jeans and a nice shirt or blouse. Jeans can be unprofessional, but if it's a part time job, it shouldn't be a big deal as long as you wear a nice top 😊

I have to respectfully disagree that it "depends on the job/where you're applying". You should ALWAYS look professional so that it looks like you're taking the interview seriously, which could lead to someone seeing higher potential in you than just the job you're applying for.
