I love the look of black lipstick but I want my eyes to be the statement. Any ideas or in general tips for black lips? Thanks!

I did a look using black lipstick under a post I created titled Fun Makeup Challenge. I just used a liquid eyeliner that has a glossy finish to create a winged eye with my black lippie. I love the idea of wearing black lipstick and felt so confident wearing it out that I'm trying to figure out looks to wear in the future with it. You might want to look it wearing a plum wine eye look adding black eyeshadow in the outer v of the lid. Just smoke it out. I've been looking online for ideas and have seen a few do a traditional smokey eye using black, gray and silver eyeshadow. Tips...make sure your lips aren't flaky because it makes applying black lipstick a mess. I have Wet N Wilds Fergie lipstick in Pagan Angel and its not a matte but a creamy satin and it feels comfortable to wear. I'm actually eyeing other formulas and brands in black. :)
