However I don't know what color I want exactly. I do know that I want it close enough to my old color that I don't have to do my roots. Some I looked at are a bit lighter (third and fifth) but are they bad enough that if my darker roots grow out that it would look horrendous?

Leslie I personally don't think you would even be able to tell! The burgundy is such a dark and outstanding color you would barely notice. (:

The bottom middle one is sorta close to my hair. Tbh that is my natural hair color! I think it would look just fine with dark roots. The colors will pop together.
