Hey guys, I have deep skin, and when ever I use eyeshadows, the colours never show up dark enough. Their always so sheer. I use BB cream and concealer as a base but it doesn't seem to do the trick. How do I get my eyeshadows to show up to their true colour? Help 😑

You should buy Mac soft orchid or painterly. They should help with your eyeshadow showing more.

I'm also thinking about primers.. Will they help?

You can use MAC paint pots in a lighter color than your skin, your eyeshadow will last forever and the color will pop, just be careful while applying the shadows because as it is long-lasting if you put the primer and apply color in a harsh way you'll never get that color properly blended

A primer would definitely help, but I think a base would suit your needs better. If you want to try something a little cheaper, the nyx jumbo pencils are a great base for eyeshadow and they come in a variety of colors. Maybelline color tattoos are great too, but they have more of a tacky quality to them, so you'll definitely need to lay a base shadow on top, otherwise blending can be a little tricky.
