How do I keep my makeup from smearing throughout the day.

Don't touch your face
Also, set your makeup with a setting spray

Primer, setting powder, setting spray. With all those combined your makeup would be crazy to budge at all. Also another trick I learned is hair spray. It is bad for your face so I only use it when I absolutely need my makeup to stay on but it sure does the trick!

I agree with Chloe! All of the steps will help with your makeup staying put. Is your skin oily?

I think matte foundations smear less than dewy foundations but I don't know what your preference is.

Hair sprays have a lot of chemicals in it... will probably clog your pores and make you break out!! setting spray and try and find a long lasting foundation and water proof every thing

You need to invest in a barrier Spray it's stronger than a setting spray ;) this will be concrete, I use Mehron barrier and Cinema secrets barrier on faces for lasting one shot lasting proof. :)

It's important to use a primer, I enjoy using Revlon's matte primer. Use a liquid foundation with a matte finish or a powder foundation, I like using Maybelline's Matte and Poreless Foundation mixed with Elf's BB cream. I like to use whatever concealer. I proceed to use a translucent powder on my T zone and under eyes, Palladio's loose rice powder is awesome. Sometimes it looks/feels a little too cakey so I like to use the dewy spray by Nyx to freshen up, it's like Mac's Fix plus. After that, I use Loreal's Infallible setting spray. Nothing budges and it looks fresh. Oh and if you're having trouble with your eyelids, try using an eyeshadow primer. The best drugstore eyelid primers, in my opinion, are Milani's or Elf's.

I decided to look it up because I was curious about the barrier spray and the Mehron spray seemed to be the only result.
