I like it lighter! It's so pretty with your skin. Maybe you could just keep your hair dark for the winter time and if you still don't like it by the time summer comes back around then go back to light hair. Bleaching is really bad for your hair but just get it done professionally and you're hair won't be as damaged.

Do you have a more accurate picture of the dark? It's hard to tell how it looks on you with the filter compared to the picture of the light hair.

I definitely think the rich brown suits your complexion best, beautiful either way of course. However if your feeling like its a little too boring for you, (I did when I went back to dark) maybe throw in some violet brown lowlights for some dimension and depth :)

Thanks Kylee! And I'm definitely feeling it's boring but a bit of a giant change for me so I definitely might look into doing some lowlights like that and maybe changing it back in the spring to the lighter. Unless I warm up more to my darker more natural color haha.

Well if you do intend on going lighter for the warmer seasons, I'd recommend doing some Carmel highlites now. It also would add dimension and that way you can just keep adding more each time and getting closer to your desired level with out ruining the integrity of your hair. Doing it in a more gradual process, and not trying to go from a level 5 to a level 10 in one go will save your hair from damage and dryness. That's what I would recommend to my clients anyway :)
