so everyone was raving on about real techniques brushes so I decided to bite the bullet and get the core collection even though I didn't really need any except the buffing brush, and I really can't see what the hype is about. To be honest I find them quiet small and difficult to work with, all except the buffing brush Which is lovely. I use the foundation brush for Concealer, the detail brush for eyeahadow and the cheek brush not at all really. they are soft and they do dry quickly , but they are small. Am I missing something here???

I like them all but for different things than they're meant to be used for. I don't like flat foundation brushes so I figured I'd never use it for that anyway. The detailer is good for getting concealer into small areas/just laying the product down. And I use the foundation brush for blending concealer, and the contour brush for applying setting powder.

Where can you find the real technique brushes?

Ulta, Amazon, or you can go look on their website, they give a list of the retailrs that sell them. But I got mine at Ulta and they are listed on Ulta's site as well

Ulta...and they are on sale right now. I have MAC, ELF and Sigma brushes and I don't feel that they outperform the Real Techniques. If anything, they do work the same, which is disappointing considering a 'precious MAC brush' ran over $50. Just like with their products, you are paying for the name..half their products don't outperform their pricetag.

I'll persevere with them, Caitlin I think That's what I'll end up doing, using them for different things. Tonita I want a flat top and a round top Kabuki and they're £20 each, the equivalent of about $35 from sigma!!! and the real techniques Kabuki is £10.99 so you are right they are good value for money.
thanks for the feedback ladies xxx
