Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone jas any advice about getting a facial. I have restarted wearing makeup every few days for the past two weeks, it has taken a huge toll on my skin. I get pimples here and there but I have three huge ones and a few smaller. I always have red scars afterwards. Just bought a vitamin c serum and I am using tea tree oil. Will getting a facial help me get my skin back to normal? I'm confused on what to do! Also any info on prices, specific treatments, etc.
Thanks a lot!

Reading back I seem a little dramatic for a few pimples but I have quite a few small ones forming. I don't wesr face makeup everyday and I want clear skin.

Hmm, wearing makeup in general should not make you break out. I would ensure that your products are not past their expiry date, your brushes are clean and that there isn't a certain product making you break out. Also what is your current skin care routine?

No I've used like 3 different foundations with different bb and brushes. I use cerave am and pm and their cleanser. Never had any issues.its really strange.

Facials are a great way to jump start your skins health. the best advice I can give you is research a reputable place to go in your area, if you go to someone knowledgeable you won't have to worry about much else. a good esthetician will be able to walk you through what treatment is best for you & why as well as give you a price. you'll have a consultation before your service to further discuss your skins needs and what results you'd like to have (they will be able to explain what is realistic at the time). the service itself will be helpful for your skin but the consultation is so important so definitely ask questions and the advice you get will be so helpful for maintaining a great home care routine to continue the desired results

Although I'm licensed I can't tell you exactly what service and price you should do because it varies depending on where you live, where you go & without talking to you and seeing and feeling your skin it's hard to decipher the best treatment. at my spa we block off a certain amount of time for first time clients instead of a specific service usually so we can discuss the options during the consultation

Thanks soooo much Sarah that was super helpful. I'll ask around to see where I should go but I live in a big city so there are so many options thankfully enough. My skin is very normal, sometimes dry, thats why I'm interested in getting a facial and starting on a blank slate!
