I've been hating my under eyes because of the color they are, I've been wanting to color conceal them, I don't know if I said that right? But Idk what to try, do any of you color conceal them? What do you recommend using? Thanks so much!

I use the benefit erase paste. It's an orangey salmon toner concealer designed to cancel out purples and dark tones. If you want drugstore I believe nyx has a similar product.

My under eyes are purple and it took me way too long to realize I needed a yellow concealer. I use the Nyx wand one, it's great. What color are your under eyes?

I haven't tried any of the higher end ones, but if you want to try a cheaper one to make sure it's the right shade, the Pixi by Petra peach corrector is great. Really the only reason I stopped using it is because I'm a concealer junkie and decided to try something else lol.

If you're warm toned and your under eye area is just a few shades darker or you have a blue tint (whether your warm toned or not)
Grab and orange one. Mix it with your regular concealer to get a peachy tone and use that to color correct.

If your under eye area is just darker and you've got more pink in your coloring you'd want to use a salmon color. Get a red color corrector, mix with concealer in your face color and get a salmon color.

If the under eye area is purple use yellow.
If the under eye area is a purple/blue use a more golden yellow rather than pale yellow.

Yellow is for purple.
If it's that purple-blue then you need a tad bit of orange which a golden yellow/kinda peachy color has

I use the Bobbi brown peach corrector under my concealer and it works well.

The only one I've had success with is the Pixi one.

You need to find out what colour your undeyes are then find the colour that counteracts that you can get coloured concleaurs that are normal in the skin but will do a better job of hiding any imperfections places like and and Bobby brown do them but you can also find ones by maybe line and other cheaper drugstore brands

What if your under eye circles are neutral. To be honest, I've looked at them in all different types of light, including sunlight, and can't narrow down a color. My IT ByeBye sufficed until post surgery, but my body is having a difficult time adjusting to EVERYTHING since then.

I love using the maybelline age rewind and fit me concealers. I have very dark undereyes and these two cover them so well!

Great explanation Jacqueline. If you would write a book with stuff like this I would buy it immediately!

My struggle with under eye and why I'm in one of the worst situations: I have very deep set eyes, I am very fair AND I have no melanin under my eyes due to Vitiligo. It's very though. I can cover up most of the Vitiligo rather easily, making my face look natural except for one spot on my chin, no clue why, but it's small. Under my eyes though it's a very different story. My skin is awfully dry as well, so I have to hydrate well, while making sure it won't crease. Most of the times it ends up looking slightly cakey at the very inner corner and not all discoloration can be covered anyway. After many years of research I found a mix of three products that work for most days. But yeah under eye is a real hell. When I go at makeup counters they always fail that part and I end up looking grey and very cakey there. No wonder a lot of people are struggling with concealer.

Using a darker concealer is a good idea. I will try it. I never use a lighter one in any case, just one that is the same shade as my skin. I'll let you know if it worked!

I'm late with my thank you, Miss Jackie (abscessed tooth), but THANK YOU! As informative and helpful as ever!
