Hey!

What are your all-time favourite skincare products out there? I would really like to know what products are part of your routine for a flawless complexion.

As we all know, a good balanced diet and drinking plenty of water isn't always enough for our skin, I would also like to know your secrets for skin issues, breakouts etc.

I, myself really enjoy using skincare lines by Lumene for specific skin issues I'm having atm. As I still am on this age when, pimples are the usual thing to have I like to use Neutrogenas Visibly clear blackhead eliminating toner (it has always been there for me when I breakout. And it always works for me.) And few days ago I found the perfect product for my skin and my student budjet: The moisture balance mask by Herbina. I use it as a sleeping mask and the next day I wake up, redness of my skin has disappeared.

Share your secret products! :)

I personally do not use a lot if products on my face, because my skin won't react well to it but I cut out some dairy products. I've been using CeraVe foaming cleanser and moisturizer and Vitamin C serum. It had helped my skin a lot, plus this cream for my dark spots have helped.

I like to experiment with new products every month - but my favorites are mainly found in the same brands like alba botanica, the yes to lines, cetaphil, and Mario badescu - but right now my routine is pretty simple - for AM I cleanse with the yes to tomatoes gel cleanser, then tone with alba botanica acnedote astringent , then spot treat with either my 2% BP by neutrogena or the tea tree oil from the body shop, then moisturize with the tea tree moisturizer by desert essence and mix that with the clear face by neutrogena SPF - for night time I usually switch to the cetaphil gentle skin cleanser, tone with an alcohol free toner (right now it's one by neutrogena but I usually have a witch hazel one by thayers) then I use a vitamin c serum (right now I'm using one by garnier) on my acne scars - then follow up with an ester c night cream - but I change it up sometimes with a once a week glycolic foaming cleanser by Mario badescu as an exfoliant - other products I've used before but I ran out of them are the BHA exfoliant by Paula's choice and the Clinique all about eyes cream (right now I'm using an eye cream by Burt's bees) so yeah those are my favorites as well as what I'm currently using :)

My favorite things I use daily are Dove bar soap and olive oil as a moisturizer. But as for skin lines I'm in love with Avenè. Their products are amazing for my skin and cleared any acne, discoloration, or uneven patched up with in a month!

I'm a combo oily aging skin. As a 40 something the stuff that worked great for me in my 30's no longer work for me in my 40's so I reach for more aggressive skincare treatments. But one face cream that I just cannot get enough of because it's still working like a champ is ReVive Moisturizing Renewal Cream. I don't use it every single night but maybe for three to four times at a time depending on how my skin is behaving. This cream contains glycolic acid which gently exfoliates/retexturizes and moisturizers the skin. It's a night time cream and the next morning any lil skin issue I had going on the day before is either greatly reduced or completely gone and plus my skin has a nice lil glow to it. Since it's not a daily night cream for me one jar last me a year and so it's painful when I fork over the payment because this stuff is not cheap at all. My overall skincare program is highly focused on what I put in my mouth because my skin responds very well to a balanced diet (limiting sugars, processed foods, dairy) of heavy on the veggies and fruit and omega 3's. My only weakness is wine.

I need to check out this avene line some of you ladies have mentioned! I also like trying out new skincare products, but my oldies, but goodies list consist of either the Cetaphil gentle or cerave foaming facial wash as they are both gentle & simple (& affordable) face washes. I put more of my focus on serums & am still on the lookout for a hg mouisturizer, but a fav vit c serum is from ole henrickson. I also love & will continue to repurchase the Thayers witch hazel toners & shiseido urban skin spf...All mentioned products work great for my acne prone oily skin.

Products:
Renew Cocoa-Butter/Coconut Oil/Plant Placenta soap with a Clarisonic (type) brush
Koji-San toner and/or diluted Apple Cider Vinegar
Vitamin C serum
Micro derma roller
Coconut oil and Crisco
Boots No. 7 nighttime moisturizer

In the AM, I usually just put coconut oil, Crisco, and daytime moisturizer on unless I've been sweating or drooling - then I wash with the same soap.
