So a good friend of mine is a makeup artist and I was watching her do her own makeup she washed her hands and then put on her face primer liquid foundation and a few other things I asked her why she wasn't using a bueaty bladder or anything like that and she said it works better when you use your own hands I was wondering if that's true and if it is why is it better?

I don't know if it works better persay but yes sometimes your hands are a good tool. I like using my hands with products that are thicker in texter because the warmth of the skin helps it blend easier, or with my bb creams because it's just like a lotion and I feel it look better when used with hands. It's also easier to pinpoint where you are getting the product which makes it easier to cover every inch of your face. I like using them too to blend product down the neck, its easier than using a brush sobyou can cover everything.

Blending is easier due to the warmth of your fingers an plus your fingers can get into the corners of the nose and under the eyes easily.
There isn't really any product absorption by a brush or sponge so I find I use less when I use my fingers. Quite a bit less actually.

Yes it is easier but I do love the beauty blender, its all personal preference.

Thanks guys I've always been too scared to do that but now I'm definitely going to try it

I always apply primer, foundation and concealer with my fingers because I feel like a brush or a sponge would "absorb" too much make-up and I definitely need less product when I use my fingers :)
