I'm still looking for the perfect everyday foundation.
I have normal to dry skin- not particularly problematic.
Thinking of giving Mac another go.
These are the ones I was considering:
-Studio Sculpt spf 15_ because it's hydrating
-Mac face and body - because its pretty sheer it sounds like a good casual everyday foundation
-The Mac Pro Longwear Nourishing waterproof foundation- because maybe I haven't found the perfect foundation yet because I've been telling myself I want medium coverage when maybe I really want full? There's only one way to find out...
Anyone have casual everyday success with any of these lines?

Studio Sculpt I'd say is medium to full.
It's very silicone-y which is why it has that sort of gel texture though I feel it makes it feel a tad heavier but not 'cream-heavy' It reminds me of studio fix fluid a tad. I did sort of like that gel-texture but didn't really find it that great for everyday wear for some reason. Perhaps I should have tried it with my fingers cause sometimes it would look a tad cakey. I usually just used a buffing brush but when I did it right it gave an airbrush look
Face and body I liked quite a bit, it's very watery though. Best with your fingers. The heat and friction sort of thickens the foundation up in a way and it sort of wears quite nice, you can get sheer to a light/medium coverage.
The finish is quite dewy but looks very fresh and I actually really like it. It doesn't look cakey no matter how much you may put on. I had flaky skin when I used this and had no problem of it making it look so bad.
The nourishing waterproof foundation can be a tad drying on me personally. I'd use a good moisturizer, it needs to be built up later by layer. I'd say it's a medium-build able coverage. A semi matte finish and quite lightweight. I didn't have any issue with it getting cakey if you make sure to work later by layer letting each dry down.
I prefer this one with a standard foundation brush or fingers. It wears really good throughout the day but I do feel it sorta... May be better for oily skin?
Maybe I need to use more moisturizer or maybe fix plus throughout the day so it doesn't feel kinda tight on my face.
I did notice this particular one isn't good if you have flaky skin
All in all, it's about preference and what steps you want to take per foundation. I personally think the face&body would be great for everyday wear.
I love the dewiness and how I can just put a tad of powder and get a nice naturally glowy look.
I would personally use the waterproof one more for summer where I get more oily and perspire or when I want to make sure my foundation stays on all night and want it to look good in photos.
I would use the studio sculpt more for special occasions when I want that fuller coverage sort of perfect look with a tad of that dewiness. I feel I get an airbrush sort of look with that one with that one. They all look good except it you use too much of course.

You may also like the new studio waterweight foundation as well. It has a wear time of 8 hours, natural satin finish, light-med coverage but build-able, and it's gel based. I like using the new brush that was launched with it, blanking on the number, to get the most coverage right away.

Thanks for all the input, guys! I went to the Mac Store by my house and tried all three plus the Waterweight. I found out I am definitely NOT looking for full coverage. I actually ended up taking home the Waterweight. It felt and looked very similar to the F&B but a teensy bit more coverage. I'm really liking the look of it so far. Hopefully that's not just a new makeup high. ><
