Ok so I used to have a lot of acne but I went to the dermatologist and got it cleared up. However, I still have severe oily skin. No matter what primer I use( Becca ever matte, mufe step 1, philosophy total matteness) I still get oily like two hours after I apply makeup. So, I want to try and lessen my oil with some natural products. For example, witch hazel, rose water, etc. I have no idea which natural products will work so please comment!

Have you tried talcum powder? I swear by it. It helps to control my oily skin and I don't have much oil on my areas. So yeah, I would recommend it.

I feel you. Primers simply don't help me. And if they do, they either are too drying or only keep me matte for an hour and or make my makeup look splotchy.
I will say that your oily skin can be controlled with a good toner. I love the Rose, Aloe Vera toner by Thayers. It smells great while it takes off the excess oil. I too have noticed that rubbing an ice cube in the morning after washing my face significantly helps my skins oils. It too helps reduce the appearance of your pores while giving your face an awakening (:.
I will say that oily skin is also due to dehydrated skin. So you must drink water and mosturize it with a good oil or mosturizer.
I'd recommend either almond, primrose, or jojoba oil. Aim for a more natural oil (:. As more mosturizers, I like Cerave.

I have combination skin, with a very oily nose. The only routine that controls my oil is moisturizing (I use jojoba oil) so your skin doesn't want to overcompensate for the stripped oils after cleansing (clay based products really help but they make my skin tight).
The right combination of primer and foundation and a good powder are essential for oil control in my opinion. I'm not an expert but this is how I tackle the situation.
Oil blotting papers will be your best friend!
And lastly, I haven't tried this because I don't wear heavy face makeup, but "baking" your concealer/foundation is supposed to be a godsend if you get very oily right away.

What I don't understand is.. if anyone have oily skin then why should someone use oil on there skin

Because then your skin is moisturized so your skin won't produce excess oil ^
And I agree with Breeze, I use a face oil, and I always keep blotting papers with me!!

If your pores are clogged and there's extra sebum secretion, you'll definitely feel oily.Your skin will always secrete sebum which is normal but if it's exceeding it's normal limit, it's called sebbhorea.I have the same problem and I always go for a hot shower and use a comedone extractor to extract all the gunk inside my pores followed by a good cleanser and toner. To tighten up my pores I use a face pack. Make sure you don't over do it or else your skin may get dry. If you use make up that is oil based I'd recommend you to switch to a something that is powder based and doesn't clog pores. I follow this and it has always worked for me.I hope it helps you too :)

If you ever tried milk of magnesia? It works really good a thin layer before foundation works wonders you'll be matte all day and maybe have to touch up with powder once. It's the best thing ever

I don't have oily skin, but blotting sheets will be your best friend! I just carry some around me in my bag and it's nice for on the go 😊

I have combination skin. So my t-zone is super oily >.< I keep blotting paper with me all the time and powder through out the day helps, aloe Vera gel I find really helps get rid of oil, I wouldn't say it dried the skin but I guess it tightens the pores causing less oil I'm pretty sure

Find the suitable cleanser.Maybe you are over doing it.I would suggest you to keep it simple and stick to one product :) Also if you use make up, use products that don't cause breakouts and aren't oil based :)
