So I've had these blackhead like things on my nose forever and I want to get rid of them. I know I asked a question like this on a different forum and someone pointed out to me that it could be something else. I can't remember what they called it and the topic got removed at some point. It was some type of gland or pore. Does anyone know what that could be? Or any good way to clean out blackheads and pores on my nose? They only really appear there, the rest of my skin seems clear.

I agree with Sydney. I have the same problem. Mine are reoccurring no matter how much I wash my face. I use biore strips about once a month and about every 3 weeks I do a charcoal facial.

Those strips can be very damaging to the skin! Compleatly ruined my nose, its now red and irritated all the time and the surface is very bumpy anf gross. If I were you, I would rather use a peeling lotion on my nose after opening the pores, and then close them again with a pore shrinking toner. Korean brands are really good!

Thank you you three! I'll look into different things. I've used Biore strips before and they've pulled something out. I'll do a bit of research into Sebaceous Filaments!

Yup, I have those!! Looks like a bunch of little tiny pin pricks all over my nose!! I've found that using pretty much ANY cleaner in tandem with a Clarisonic-type (doesn't have to be that particular brand) brush works wonders!! The brush does all the work - it really gets down into the pores and cleans them out. Also, anything charcoal and/or clay helps A LOT with acne in general. A great soap is Nippon Kodo Japanese Charcoal soap. You can get it on Amazon for $11.
