Don't be worried about it!! Be yourself!! I'm going into my sophomore year, and honestly make as many friends as you can. Beauty wise do what you like. Dress how you like, do your makeup how you like. Just be you! And say on top of your work. Try and not to put anything behind. It will catch up with you. But for everything else just have fun! It's your first year of high school

I'm going into my junior year:) don't be scared or worried its natural to be but there's really nothing to be afraid of!:) just have fun be yourself and I would wear natural makeup, at least that's what I do. I just keep my makeup to a minimum:) but good luck and have fun!:)

I'm a junior this year. The best advice honestly is to just stop caring what people think as much as you can, I struggled really bad with that freshman year. So as Sarah said wear what you want and do what makes you happy, these people are going to be such a small part of your life. :) good luck

Hey girl I'm a senior this year and just want to tell you to just have fun and be yourself. I completely agree with the ladies above on here. Some days you can just go wild (appropriately for school dress codes) and others you might just roll out of bed and put your hair in a bun and go. High school might be scary at first but believe me, you'll be a pro by the mid year mark. Also, don't try to impress other people. You do you. You'll be way more relaxed that way and you can definitely rock anything you want so long as you're confident. Sorry for randomness. It's like 1 am here.

I'm a sophomore and The advice I can give you is be yourself.. Don't act fake to fit in with other people or don't hang out with people that you know will get you in trouble or don't even like you.. I'm going to tell you that if you do meet people in high school , be VERY careful because people can turn on my you even your own friends.. I'm not trying to make you scared but I'm telling you that the truth.. For makeup and hair just wear what makes you feel comfortable and follow the (school dress code) also the most IMPORTANT thing to do is focus on your school work and try not to worry about friends!! Friends come and go so don't let that affect you from learning.

I'm going into my Sophomore year this year. I loved Freshman year! I recommend joining a club or two, or a sports team- you will make so many friends! Also, definitely do your homework and try your best on everything. I have heard some seniors say their biggest mistake was not taking their schoolwork seriously during Freshman year! Honestly though, I loved being a freshman. The only struggle is like the first 2 weeks, when you might get lost in the hallways on the way to your classes but do not be afraid to ask someone in the hallway! All the people I ever asked always gave me help on where to go. It's a great year! (:

Honestly I graduated a year ago and honestly the key thing is to be yourself. And don't let people get under your skin. Have an attitude that you don't care what people think because in the end you should only care about your opinion
