Problems with my MAC foundation.

I have a lot of problems with this foundation as well. I have oily skin so I don't have the flakey issue. I found it easiest to apply with my fingers and buff it out. Using any primer with it made me an oily, cakey mess.

I agree with Brittany. I pat it on and sorta spread it by patting it on and use a very small amount and do a thin layer, let it dry and then add more in areas that need it.

I skip a primer altogether. I just use a good moisturizer. I'm very fond of the CeraVe Moisturizing cream.

I have oily skin and since it is hydrating it doesn't suit oily skin best, unles you're combo or on the drier side.
I wanted to love it but it only made me an oily mess.

You should maybe try face and body. Looks like have pretty good skin.

Spot conceal. Maybe that would help. And correct any discoloration if you have to. Mufe does a super pigmented concealer I forgot what it's called but it comes in a squeeze tube. That concealer is a bit drying but it conceals flawlessly.

I have this foundation and just use moisturizer with it. I use the MAC complete comfort care cream. And that helps. I also have the pro long wear concealer to cover my dark circles. I think it would work well for scarring and blemishes.

This has happened with all MAC foundations on me :( I bought the studio fix THEN the mineralized and both broke me out! Total misses for me
