How to wear blush and contour cheekbones at the same time?

Hey!! So, I'm a big fan of contouring my cheekbones to make them look higher, but unfortunately, the placement of the shadows always seem to clash with the placement of blush.

In turn, I end up wearing hardly any blush, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a solution to this. Bearing in mind that I have an oval shaped face.

Thanks in advance ☺

You could wear a more complimentary blush. I'm dark and I contour a little and I use darker blushes like deep red/brown blushes and blend well. also you could not drag the contour up as far

What are you using to contour with and where are you placing it?

That's a good idea, Chelsee, thanks! Kitty, I'm using NYX powder blush in Taupe as my contour powder. I place it pretty high up, above where my nose ends, since they're on the higher side to begin with.

You should be applying your contour in the hollows of your cheeks, which is under your cheekbones. Is that where you're placing it?

If your putting it where your nose ends then it might be too high up atleast for my face

Yup, I'm applying it at the hollows. I used to apply it a little lower, but it was unflattering as it didn't match my facial shape.

Try wearing a darker blush under your cheekbones.
