Help with Mascara‼️‼️

Hi everyone! Ok, I have really straight & short lashes that cannot hold a curl whatsoever. I love wearing mascara, but it looks weird on me because of my lashes, even though I always use an eyelash curler beforehand 😣
I was hoping someone would recommend an awesome mascara for my problem... preferably a drugstore brand 😋. Thank you!

Have you tried the Falsies 'Flared'? Try getting wands that are curved so the wand will also curl your lashes up

How about L'Oreal Butterfly? 😄 It has a curved up wand! Or, you could try Telescopic Shocking Extensions, it always holds curls well for me. The type of curler you're using might also be contributing to the problem! I always use Shu Uemura, but I used to use Revlon and I couldn't see any improvement for the life of me lol
Just keep experimenting! You'll get it eventually!

I have to disagree with Kayla. I tried the loreal butterfly and like you, I have very short and straight lashes and I hated it. the curl didn't last, the color even though it said it was black look rather blueish, and the brush made applying it difficult.

Anna also has a good point, it may not work as well with shorter lashes, just figured it was worth mentioning :)

Have you tried using a lash primer? I use the one from Urban Decay with Tarte light camera lashes and don't need to use a curler any more : )

You could try using a heated lash curler. It made a huge difference for me. I am using the roller lash mascara at the moment. I hated it at first. But now I can see it separating my lashes beautifully with a fanned out effect. But it smudges if you're not careful. I accidentally rub my eyes and it smudges without me knowing. 😅 I don't know how I feel about the mascara. Lol. My all time favourite is the heroine make kiss me mascaras. They hold up curls all day.

I really like L'Oreal Butterfly (Waterproof helps hold curl better) and I have pretty short straight lashes. I also recommend you try heating up your eyelash curler with hair dryer before curling (also don't curl your lashes after putting on mascara because it will make your lashes fall out). If heating it up doesn't help then I think you should try a new eyelash curler. I can only use certain ones (Trim is my favorite and its white and teal rubber handles and the metal part is black; its cheap but its the only one that works for me).
