So I got a spray tan which I was assured would fade evenly LIKE A REAL TAN!! Well I am now horrified and exfoliating like mad to clean up this disaster. Has anyone tried the new in shower gradual tanning cream yet? Any thoughts? I love having a bit of a glow but will not give myself cancer and it seems out of reach atm!!

I'm a spray tan tech and usually if your tan fades this way it has a lot to do with your skins pH level and how well you took care of your tan. it's important to keep your skin very moisturized & be cautious of the products you're using on your body on a daily basis. It also can be fading this way because of the solution used, it may not have been great quality. I spray tan constantly because I also have a tent and machine at my house and I don't have issues with my tan fading unless I'm lazy with moisturizing. To remove the tan in a dermasuri mit is a LIFESAVER. It literally takes the tan off in crumbs and comes off very easily which is great because I have very sensitive skin. I'd definitely look into purchasing one.

Thanks Sarah! I got the Versa pro tan and used the Versa pro prep scrub beforehand and got the pre tan prep solution spray and the moisturizing after spray as well. I even bought a in shower cleanser and Versa pro lotion from the salon. Since I've had issues in the past I seriously went overboard and purchased every add on they offered lol and I swear this is worse than my previously worse experience. The one upside is it lasted seriously 2 weeks which is crazy bc it usually only lasts 5 days to a week if I'm lucky.

Till it's all the way off you might wanna try sally hansen airbrush legs I use it if my tan comes off on not evenly it comes off real easy in the shower it's just a quick and easy way to get though that awkward uneven tan time.

No problem Angela, the versa pro tan is a booth correct? I hate their solutions and application personally I'd definitely suggest going to someone and getting an airbrush tan it turns out so much better. That's what I do of course and mine last about two weeks :)

Thanks Niki that's an idea. I actually have a bottle of that in my closet. Thanks again Sarah, it's just not in my budget to get sprayed by an actual person lol! Just the booth in my area is $30 per visit so I'm spending $90 a month just to not look like a ghost. Sadly that's what I make in a day as I only work part time:(
