To save room while packing, roll up your clothes instead of folding them.

Sample sizes of lipsticks and mascara would save a lot of room too.

I travel A LOT. For clothes, make sure you roll them up so they don't take up as much room. In your suitcase, you can have all the liquids you want, but in your carry on, depending on the flight, they limit you to just about 3 oz total (mine did) Only bring as many outfits as you'll need because it sucks packing it all back up and I always bring much more than I need! I always pack my makeup, but I recommend putting plastic wrap or something over anything that can spill and zip lock bags are a must! I also like to tape the lids to my perfumes and stuff so they don't explode. A lot of people say there skin gets really dry on the plane, but it doesn't really bother me. Maybe bring a small travel sized moisturizer in your carry on in case and definitely bring your phone or something to read! I like to bring a neck pillow as well so I can sleep! Don't forget Chapstick because you definitely don't want chapped lips!!

Planes allow 1 quart sized bag of liquid/cream/gel products and they must be 3.4 ounces or less. If you're not sure whether an item is considered a liquid/gel/cream or if something is allowed on your carry on then check out https://apps.tsa.dhs.gov/mytsa/cib_home.aspx where you just type in the item in question and it'll tell you what to do with it.
I agree with Madison about rolling clothes, it saves a TON of space in your suitcase.
Always bring your regular skincare and haircare products, traveling is not the time to experiment with new products.
The clothes and makeup you bring will be different depending on where you're going.
