Hey,so school for me is starting in a few days and I have to wear uniform and I want to wear a skirt the first day but I have bruises all over my legs from water sliding and things like that. Is there any way to get rid of them quickly? Or have any of you tried that Sally Hansen spray leg makeup which might cover them? Thanks for any help!

Hi Mady, yes the Sally Hansen spray will help cover them up but be sure to get your right shade. :)

You can't really make a bruise heal faster so you're only option is to cover it with makeup. I haven't used the Sally Hansen leg makeup so I don't know if that works for covering bruises but I do suggest trying to color correct it as best you can before applying skin tone colored makeup.

This is like really odd but I remember my science teacher mentioning women would use leeches to help a bruise go away within a few hours. I mean... I wouldn't suggest that but it popped into my head.
I'd highly suggest the Sally Hansen spray! Just make sure you get the right color otherwise it will be orange

If you dab Listerine like the mouth wash on your bruised areas I've heard they go away I seen it as a life hack on YouTube :)

Oh my god I want that! I grew up on a farm and pretty rough on my body so I'm used to seeing bruises everywhere. I never bothered to cover them up and felt my bruises made me cool. Even now as an adult I'll find a bruise and shove my leg into my husbands face demanding he looks at it. Other than all that you can try slightly sheer slightly opaque nylons.

I agree with covering it up using makeup or spray tan. But if you are looking for diy on removing it completely, please do not massage the area, or use a vibrating massager. It will remove the mark, but it can also cause blood clots which can be fatal

* Sorry phone glitched*.. a bruise is a scab under the skin, when it gets broken up it can travel through the blood stream to the heart which can cause a heart attack. I bruise a lot and have been warned by my doctor about this several times.

I use massage bars from LUSH. I don't really massage the area. I just rub it in really well. Their massage bars are packed with good oils and minerals to help soothe and repair the skin. It worked really well on a bruise I got on my neck. Not sure where I got it from. I went to the doctor first and he prescribed a stinky cream. Then I went to LUSH and they suggested Pearl massage Bar. I have to start using it on the other side of my neck now cause the side that was bruised looks so much clearer and toned than the other side that wasn't bruised.

Use either Listerine on a cotton ball to dab the bruise or, and I know this sounds weird but it works for me lol, a banana peel. I heard it and thought it was stupid till I tried it and it worked amazing for me!

For another option, NYX has an AWESOME color correcting palette and Cover FX has amazing coverage and staying power. Then just powder (I always use the rolling technique) and set!
