Some home remedies are, apple cider vinegar, turmeric, aloe Vera, lemon/lime juice (in moderation it acts as a "bleach" to lighten up scarring, & honey. There are many more out on the Internet. Make sure you use sun block because exposing them to the sun will darken them. A product that you could buy on budget would be https://www.google.com/shopping/product/13067194357110679506?client=safari&channel=iphone_bm&biw=320&bih=460&q=drugstore+acne+scar&spell=1&prds=paur:ClkAsKraX8GFZ5j2_-OBPxTgyEAaT98nmFHBHNWMDBEUmNCQqOsBo-UGU4BiqCicG20hct8_y5FN-tj55B15Eh0DF4ijMm7Ft79kR37lbNWrXHr4xFm0dX1xQRIZAFPVH73xTzOSnrY1jWKtQNdi8Ij44gzkAg&sa=X&ved=0CM4DEPMCMAFqFQoTCJS94Je7pMcCFYUfHgodzhIIKQ (about 7 bucks)

I honestly used a chemical peel and it worked but I looked like a zombie skin for a week and a half

If $35 is your budget for one month of product...stash that amount aside each month til Thanksgiving. Come December, get a peel done at the Estheticians/Spa. The change you will see should prove not only dramatic, but make you FEEL better. A,week downtime and skin will have calmed. They will evaluate which peel is best for you, but honestly, I'd rather save a few months and have professional results than toss $35 at it.

Phaedra, might I ask which peel you had and price? Was it a derm or Medspa/Spa with an Estie?
