Since being on accutane, my skin went from being oily no matter what I did, to dry. This is very new to me and I'm not sure what foundation I should go for. I'd like at least medium coverage preferably. Suggestions?

Clarins skin illusion! I use this when my skin is dry. It glides over dry areas but still keeps my t zone shine free. Highly recommend it.

True Match Lumi works for some but it was way to heavy for my dry skin. It wouldn't hurt to try but I have really dry skin that flakes often and it didn't do any good. I love Clinique Super Moisture or Even Better (the Super is a little bit sheerer than the Even Better but they are very close; just depends if you want more coverage). Makeup Forever HD is also great. I would also try mineral makeup to. Its what I use everyday (for the last 4 years) and its actually really nice for dryness and the coverage is pretty good too. I am always getting compliments on what I use when I wear powder. I recommend Bare Minerals (I like the Original) and Tartes is nice too.
As for primers I recommend Bare Minerals Prime Time, L'Oreal Magic Lumi (skinny white tube; this stuff is amazing), and Hourglass is really great too just a lot more expensive but its easily my favorite.
Now make sure you are moisturizing well before. I recommend CeraVe Moisturizing Cream mixed with Philosophy Back to Nurture. I just bought the Back to Nurture and it is amazing! I have really sensitive skin too and it hasn't bothered me at all. I've been searching for oils that actually help and this stuff is amazing. Its expensive but worth it to me but I recommend getting samples of this and the foundations I mentioned so you can see what works for you.

I'd use the CeraVe moisturizing cream and preferably a cream foundation.
I feel like cream foundations have more of the emollients that lock in moisture whereas liquids have lighter types of things and are usually lighter coverage like MACs Face & Body (a good light coverage foundation though)
I'm on retinal and I've been liking more cream foundations like MACs full Coverage, Bobbi Brown Stick foundation and even the RCMA foundation.
I like that I don't really have to set yet it make my skin look healthy and glowy.
I don't have any issue with them but I do make sure to exfoliate and moisturizer so that could also be a factor
