Since last winter (which was almost a year ago) I've had really chapped lips that made it hard to wear lipstick (even moisturizing ones). I've tried Vaseline, khiels lip balm and countless others but they're still dry. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance:)
I think this goes under skincare but if it doesn't sorry! Feel free to move it

It's really annoying especially this time of year because I'd love to try matte lipstick, but right now my lips are too chapped.

Ugh, I bet that really hurts, too! have you tried a lip "scrubber" to fluff off the dead skin? I know you said you've tried some products, but I would do that, then put vaseline on overnight, then make sure you use a moisturizing lip balm during the day. You can even Google some recipes for homemade lip balm using coconut oil, honey, and some essential oils. It takes time, but eventually you lip skin should improve!

I swear by my Agave Lip by Bite Beauty. I never, ever get chapped lips anymore..even in brutal winter. Also, I make a lip scrub from organic sugar, Coconut Oil and pure vanilla. When I can find trial kits of Fresh's Sugar Lip around the holidays, I snag those and store them in the fridge as they are very soft. I always keep Nivea Lip Butter in my purse, but rarely need it with my Bite Agave, which I also sleep in. When I wash, I gentle rub my lips with a wet, nubby cotton washcloth or use a baby "toothbrush" to exfoliate prior to applying my lip products.

I save my little jars and tins and big ole ones as well and make a batch of body scrub/lip scrub at one time..gifting a close friend or two. You save so much money! I use Coconut oil and a hint of sweet almond, but that's a nice simple recipe as well..and brown sugar is lovely in a scrub. I often switch out.

I just rub Vit E oil into them every night before bed and under lipstick in the day, works for me - no lib scrubs.

I make a lip scrub from sugar, olive oil and honey, with the same amount of each ingredient. I usually just use one teaspoon of each and it makes more than enough. I also wear a moisturising lip balm by Natio every day, and it stops my lips from drying out. The lip balm also has Vitamin E and SPF 30+ in it. :)
