I use makeup forever Matte velvety foundation and I love it. But everytime I use any type of foundation it never stays. It moves and it's so annoying. I use fix+ after I Apply my makeup and it still goes all over the place throughout the day. What can be the problem.
It happens no matter what foundation.

Try using a setting spray, then primer, your foundation, concealer(. If you use it) powder. Use setting spray before or after the powder. I'm not sure if you do it before or after but I don't think it matters. If anyone know please help!!

Fix+ isn't a setting spray, it's a finishing spray, so use a setting spray like the Urban Decay All Nighter. Are you also priming and using a setting powder?

I have super oily skin and so far no primer has helped me. I apply my foundation with a clean face, no moisturizer or primer. Apply foundation with a damp beauty blender. And then set with MUF setting powder. It really helps!

If it is breaking down due to your skin becoming oily, it's important to get a moisture that will control excessive sebum or oil from breaking down your foundation. A good example of an oil controlling moisturizer is Embryolisse Hydra Mat Emulsion. A lot of makeup artists swear by it.

As the above ladies mentioned, definitely switch to a spray like Urban Decay's All Nighter or MUFE Mist & Fix for a dry to combination type. I find taking a tissue after applying foundation & concealer to just lightly blot my face with works wonders, it removes the excess product yet still leaves the coverage! Then powder after, followed by setting spray. Primers can be hit or miss. I also find a key is hydration! Definitely use a serum & moisturizer, sounds counter-productive but will work wonders. Lastly, just re-touch throughout the day! All you really need to do is blot then take a kabuki or similar buffing brush & re-blend, doesn't take long at all & makes a world of difference.

I forgot to mention a powder like Laura Mercier's Translucent Setting Powder will literally make any foundation not budge throughout the day if applied properly. Do more of a pat & roll or stipple with your brush & it will be most effective. Check out reviews of it though, definitely a game changer in terms of setting & keeping your hard work in place!

Primer and setting powder/spray help makeup stay in place all day
