I just picked up the Loreal Pro Matte Foundation in Soft Sable- it matches my body and is a bit too dark for my face, but I can work with it. The only problem is that it looks slightly orangey on my skin. Is there a way I can prevent that? Thank you!
PS, I'm sorry that I am late on my monthly favorites, I will be uploading a thread on it soon

If you got the wrong shade, you got the wrong shade. You should just see if you can exchange it.

Try mixing it with a lighter foundation/ bb cream or even a moisturizer. Use a lighter powder or a primer that cancels out any colour on your face. Good luck :)

I agree with Amanda. There is a lot you can do to correct a wrong shade of makeup, you don't always need to exchange it.

Try to add contrast. If you cover your whole face in an orangey color you should off set it with bronzer, blush, and all that good stuff.

If its turning orange on you skin it can be because its oxidizing. Do you feel like it is orange when you put it on or does it turn orange after a minut or so?
