I think I've finally decided what I'm going to be for Halloween (if I have somewhere to go/something to do of course, lol)!
I saw this flapper costume and absolutely fell in love with it!
The only thing included is the dress and the headband and I plan on buying black gloves and fishnets to help complete the look. I'm having a little trouble with jewelry, though. Would white pearls look alright or should I go for black pearls/beads instead?
For the hair (keep in mind I still have my blue ombre) I'm debating whether to just leave it down and curl it or tuck it into the headband to create a faux bob.
I'm 100% set on doing and black and navy halo eye with a little shimmer. I know dark lips were all the rage in the 20's so I'd love to do a dark/dramatic lip as well but I don't want to clash with the eyes. I think since it's Halloween I can get away with doing a dramatic eye with a dramatic lip but I'm not really sure so lipstick suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

That looks so cute! Definitely create a faux bob, if you wanna keep it historically accurate but you could also just leave it down and curl it for a more modern/creative approach
Yay for red lips and if you wanna seriously go "all out" make it a glittery plum lip
Jewelry? Ahh that is a hard one
I think maybe a black pearl choker, I don't really know... :)
Post a picture of you in the costume on Halloween
It's going to look awesome

You're very welcome! I don't celebrate Halloween but I still love costumes especially historical ones ❤️❤️

This costume is too glitzy for pearls. I'd go with a black crystal necklace of some sort. Nothing too long though. A choker maybe, or something a tad longer.
As for lipstick, I'd go red but on the darker side personally.

Thickra, I've been watching a lot of historically accurate 20's look but I think I might make my look a bit more modern (:
Ashley, thank you (:

I think dark beads would match better with the dark vibe of the dress. I would wear both dark eyes and lips its holloween why not!(:
