Is keeping my GlamGlow in the bathroom ruining it?

So I have been obsessed with the Super Mud since I got it a year or two ago. When I first started using it I remember it being a little thicker than it is now, and it made my skin feel a little tingly. Now the last two that I've gotten have seemed thinner and I don't notice the same cleansing and tingly-ness.
The major difference I've done was putting it on right after a very hot shower, I keep the container on the bathroom counter. Could the heat/steam be altering the mask?

The only thing I could think of would be if it has oils in it, or any ingredient that melts, it might cause it to separate in the heat. But it is skincare and they usually assume it'll be in the bathroom. If you stiri/mix it up does it get thicker? They may have also changed the formula to it too.

Definitely could be changing the consistency. It's generally advised to keep skincare in a dark, dry, cool-room temp. Area, just because heat breaks down ingredients faster, esp. Potent ones!

It could be that all of the oils and ingredients could have gone to the bottom of the jar try putting the jar upside down for maybe a day then open it take something to mix it all up and then see if the consistency is the same because a lot of the times thats what happens and that helps.

Well a "tingly" feeling actually is usually a sign that your skin is irritated so most likely you noticed it in the beginning because it was a new product in your regimen but now that your skin is used to it then it doesn't experience that feeling anymore - I don't think the bathroom changed it - I think your skin is just not being irritated by it anymore.

I highly suggest you don't keep any skincare or makeup products in the bathroom. Luckily I have one of our spare rooms turned into my vanity room so I have a lot of storage for all my products and I know it can be difficult getting used to having it all in another place but storing any products in an area like that can definitely alter it.

I kept it in my bedroom while I showered, and kept it upside down and stirred it up before I applied and it seriously made a big difference! So I think it was definitely the heat from the shower kinda melting the mask!
