Anyways I got a tattoo on my collarbone a few weeks ago (almost a month) and recently bought Fake Bake Flawless Self Tanner. I'm going to be applying it tonight, but is it alright to use on a tattoo that's new? Or should I just go around it? My tattoo is all black and dark grey. Will the tanner affect/alter it? Thank you! Here's a picture of my tattoo if that helps! Xx

If you're tattoo is completely healed I wouldn't worry about it.

If it's completely healed and all the scabs are gone it shouldn't be a problem, if you're worried about your tattoo looking dull apply a lotion or Vaseline to your tattoo to avoid affecting that area

Thank you guys! It's completely healed but my sister said that it'd alter how the tattoo looks and whatnot. I'll be careful, thank you!

I'd think it would be fine if it's completely healed, but definitely be careful!

I would not do it. A tattoo takes about 6 month to heal in all the layers. Just because the top layers of the skin has healed the self tanner can still reach the unhealed skin - Proberbly nothing will happen but I wouldnt risk it!

I asked a few friends with tattoos and they said the same as Sabrina. So, I'd say if your tattoo is older than about 7 months your probably ok, if not, I'd probably wait on using anything like a self tanner.
