Aphrodite style look?

I am thinking of being Aphrodite for an event where I have to go as someone beginning with "A". I'm wondering how to do my hair and makeup. I have dark hair which is slightly above the shoulders and green eyes. I am going to wear sandals, a white toga style dress and a gold coloured hair band. Thanks!

According to myths, Aphrodite looks different to everyone according to what they find most beautiful. I would use a pretty heavy makeup look with a curly updo with curled tendrils hanging down and maybe you could paint a few pink hearts on your arms to show that you are the goddess of love. For colors I would use gold on your eyes and heavy eyeliner with a natural looking lip. But really do whatever you look most beautiful in because it will go with the theme of Aphrodite.

When I think of Aphrodite I get the vision of bronzed smokey eyes and very glowy, radiant skin topped off with a natural lip color like NYX Sable! I agree with Maggie on making it whatever you'd like since its your vision of beautiful! However, rather JUST hearts, with gold liner I'd draw streaks up my arm interlacing hearts drawn with a similar pearly shade!

I agree with a bronzed glowy look. A bronze eye, dewy skin with a peach blush, lots of mascara or falsies, bronzer, and a nude or soft pink lip! I'd love to see the full look!
