What do you do to clean your brushes? I've been told baby oil, plain water or buy a brush cleaner so just want ideas.

I rinse them in warm water and then swirl them around in my hand with baby shampoo. It does a great job.

Never use water!! And never soak brushes!! This is not only harmful to you but the integrity of the brushes. Visit your local makeup store (sephora) and purchase an instant brush cleaner.

I used to use makeup brush cleaner but ran out and just using 1/2cup warm water some baking soda and 1 tablespoon baby shampoo... I suppose you can use face wash too? Lol.

NEVER soak your brushes!! Unless you want the bristles to fall out I don't suggest it. Use some antibacterial dish soap and olive oil. Your brushes will be clean and super soft.

So shampoo using a brush shampoo or baby shampoo, always hold with hair going with flow of water. let dry flat on paper towel with hair end overhanging your counter. Oh did I mention tap dry as much as possible first. To dysinfect 1 minute in 99% alcohol and 3-5 in 70% right after. Make sure the alcohol isn't touching the Farel of your brush which is the metal clamp that olds your hair on the handle. I keep a spray bottle with 99% with me at all times to do quick cleanings on the go.
