It is really drying. I have pretty sensitive skin so that's probably why. I do have to say that it definitely does brighten your skin though which is nice.

I prefer oil free acne wash. works for oily and combination skin without drying out.

I didn't like it when I got the body wash of that line. Neutrogena breaks me out except for their makeup remover wipes.

You can always use the grapefruit once or twice every week and alternate with either a plain face wash or the oil free acne wash which has some kind of powder so I recommend that before makeup so you don't get greasy! I've been using it for years and I think it works really well if you use it every couple of days. At first I was using it every day and it would really dry out my skin and even burn a bit, but if you use it every other day or every couple of days, it works great. Using a good moisturizer afterward really helps too!

I used this product for awhile. At first I found that it helped control the little bit of acne I had, but after awhile it really dried out my skin. But then I switched from using it every day to every second day along with a moisturizing cleanser. That helped a lot!
