I think color is perfect, but if you want to dye your hair I think a little bit darker is better than lighter! :) you should use hairspray to get a little volume on your hair! I think if you try it, you're going to love your hair like that.. (I don't know if I say everything ok! :S I'm spanish & I don't use english often.. :S)

Id go to a warm brown. And cut some chunky layers on and then get some volume powder (I think its swarzkopf that do "got2b" its fab)

A nice sideswept fringe would look really good with your face's proportions. If you want color I'd suggest warm highlights or really dark lowlights to bring out your natural color.

I would cut your hair into a long layered bob... so your hair would lay just past your chin and not quite touching the shoulders. (Jennifer Aniston wore hers like that a few years ago) and color... I agree with most everyone else. A darker brown will make your eyes stand out!

I think you should do a middle part and do to braids on each sides in damp hair, or even sleep with them in, when you take it out it should be a really nice looking mermaid waves , which personally I lovveeee! and maybe a little darker, but your hair is really nice though!
