I have black hair with brown patches from faded hair dye. Any suggestions of good dye, hair processing or products that keep it in? Thanks!

Use a permanant hair dye (obviously you know that lol) and use a shampoo for colored hair or sulfate free like loreal.. And what I recommend is Aveda color depositing conditioner and you leave it in for a few minutes and rinse with cool water to help hold in the color and it will make your hair shiny an smell good! I used to use this as well when my hair was dark.. Another thing is to use a color glaze after you color it to lock in the color and lasts longer, they do sell colored glazes for black hair and clear as well.. Hope this helps!:)

You can use a blue-black hair permanent hair dye - this is the blackest black you can get and since you already have dark hair you won't get the blueish tint most people get. As for making it last, there's a brand (mainly sold in salons) called Enjoy. It is actually made by two ex employees of Pureology - the most well known sulfate free shampoos and conditioners. What sets Enjoy apart is that it is stabilized to your hair's natural Ph as well. Check it out:
