I recently read somewhere that a healthy length for your nails is at your fingertips? what do you girls think?

I think this probally is quite correct, cause keeping your nails as short as your fingertips you can prevent it from breaking, cause it has nowhere to break. Also there's less possibilities for getting the under-nail area infected or getting your nail stuck in somewhere.

Could be true. I like to keep my nails a bit long, but when they get too long, they tend to bend. if I get in my pants pocket for my lipbalm & they're too long, one will actually bend when I'm slidding my hand in my pocket- that's when I know it's time to trim the talons down!

Not only that, but the longer the free edge, the more gunky stuff that can accumulate.
