I got the lightest shade, #080, blonde with a little bit of white tint. The instructions say not to leave the dye in over 45 minutes because of the bleach so I left it in for about 35 minutes. After I washed it all out, I let my hair air dry and I think it looks pretty good for a box dye.
What do you guys think - does it look alright or should I get it fixed?

Wow I haven't heard of it... But I think it looks good. So how does it work? You just do the lower section?

Yepp! You part your hair in sections and then do the bottom half of the sections!

I think it looks more yellow than blonde.

I agree it looks more yellow than blonde, it's an easy fix if you don't like. I want to do yellow on myself.

It's blonde in person, the lighting in our bathroom is just terrible. >___<

Looks gorgeous! Sometimes the blonde doesn't look quite right with black colored hair, but it looks absolutely stunning on you.

Do you reckon it will work on really dark brown/ off black coloured hair?
Mar 3, 2013
Becca K.
I think it might work on really dark hair. It comes with bleaching powder that you add to everything else. It might not be as blonde as it is on the package or as much as you want, but it should still give off a little blonde coloring!

My friend tried this ombre kit of l'oreal too. She really has long and thick hair. We left it in for about 40 minutes and we didn't see any differences.. It didn't work at all for her.
