I had that color hair a year and a half ago and honestly it was a bitch to keep up. Whenever I had regrowth it would show like crazy and I had to bleach my roots every 2 weeks (which killed my hair follicle) and it would always fade so I'd have to dye it every week. However I have found that there is no miracle conditioner to prevent it from fading. This may sound gross but cut down the shampooing to once a week. Personally I can go a month with just conditioning my hair but I don't know about you. Also, if you ever get into a situation where chlorine is involved, like pools, wet your hair with COLD WATER and put whatever color stay conditioner you want in it. That way while you're swimming, the chlorine will absorb the conditioner and not your hair color. Hope I helped a bit!!

Try using Wella Perfecton, I don't know what colour you would need so youd have to do your own research. Its like a hair stylists secret weapon, you arent supposed to be able to buy it but you can get it off amazon. Its like a toner. I used to have half blonde half brown hair, and when I wanted to go back to my natural ginger, the hair dresser put this bright orange wella perfecton on it, let it sit for a bit, rinse it out, and then put dye over the top. Your dye will fade but the perfecton doesn't. It made my hair super shiny, so you don't have to dye your hair half as much.

My hairs similar- more or a cherry red though- I use semi permanent dye and mix some of it into my conditioner, well quite abit actually- so it's 2 parts conditioner, 1part dye =] make sure your semi's not got any peroxide or ammonia in it though, I use directions =]

I had red hair several months ago and I used a shampoo and conditioner meant for red hair and even the product itself was literally red substance. So it does keep the color in a bit longer. Always use cold-warm water bc the cold water helps keep it in longer too. And don't wash out too much in one time you take a shower!

Red always fades fast. You are probably already using cooler water. And you should use a color care shampoo and conditioner.. I sugesst matrix bialage color care or matrix total results color care.
