How bad will red hair damage my hair? I've been thinking about dying my hair red but I just don't wanna damage it too much -.-

If you don't bleach it first, it won't be that bad but the thing with red dye is that the hair doesn't hold the color long. I used to dye mine like Ariana grande red and I had to dye it like once every 2 weeks if I wanted to keep the color so I just dyed it brown. Even with color safe shampoo and conditioner t still came out so quick.

As long as your taking care of your hair properly and using a good moisture or repair treatment after you color then you should be five. you can get high lift reds at Sally beauty by loreal for dark hair only. that's what I have in my hair now. and I never bleached.

I use a semi permanent (directions) and it has no ammonia or peroxide in it and it has really good conditioning properties so its actually quite good for my hair =]
