I need help! I always use a primer & setting powder, but my makeup never stays on all day! It melts & I always feel oily by the end of the day, any ideas on how to keep it flawless throughout the day?

Some people use hairspray! just spray it all over your face when your make-up is done, maybe it works for you to!:)

I would try a primer, put it on before you apply your foundation. The one that works best for me the Neutrogena primer, it holds your makeup on and you don't get all oily and messy by the end of the day. Also, another one that I use is the Lock and Load Spray, by Kat Von D and it is amazing! A little pricy but it works wonders, after you finish applying your makeup, just spray your face once or twice and all day your makeup stays on and doesn't melt off.

I really dig urban decays all nighter and deslick setting sprays. I have oily skin and work long hours and with either of those my makeup stays on for the 10+hour shift.

If you feel oily even though you use all those things I would suggest a finishing spray. It keeps your makeup from rubbing off or fading throughout the day and some even have oil control. I use urban decay, its not expensive and is a great must have in my opinion ever since I started using it my makeup stays on all day, feels fresh, and no more oil! good luck :)

I'd recommend using a makeup mist & set spray. There are all kinds out there and some are less expensive than others. I use e.l.f brand and t has green tea, cucumber and vitamins A, C, & E.

Setting sprays are amazing, that's a great tip. But first off, take a peek at your foundation. My bet is that it isn't oil free.

It's almost impossible to keep our makeup from smearing through out the day so sometimes it helps to re-apply or re-set your makeup with a translucent powder throughout the day (a mattifying one if possible) :) Keep some handy your bag or backpack, and carry a travel-sized brush. When your skin starts to feel oily, just apply a bit on troubled areas, the powder will help absorb the excess oil. Oil does tend to make our makeup smear a bit, so what I would also suggest to control the oil is get some oil-blotting sheets. All you do is dab it around oily areas and the sheet just takes it right up! And try applying a moisturizer before you put on anything. It's important to moisturize EVEN if you have oily skin :) It keeps your skin in balance, as well as creating a smoother canvas for your makeup. Try getting a moisturizer formulated specially for your skin type, such as (dry, oily, combination) etc. Also, try looking at the type of brand (s) you are using. Do you notice that there certain ones tend to last longer or ones that don't? Some drugstore makeup are great, and some can wear of very easily even with a good primer! And it helps to use products that are oil-free as well (:
Hope this helped! xo Anh @ (youtube.com/stantonfashionclub)

Use a primer before applying makeup then when the face foundation is done, use loose powder to set it :)

I actually use urban decays primer potion on my whole face. Haha. It's supposed to just be eyeshadow primer, but it really keeps my face shine free all day!
