So I come from a family who has a history of having oily skin. To reduce breakouts I wash my face once a day and mud mask it once a week. After a few weeks of doing this my face begins to dry up and flake, so I stop washing my face for a few days but end up breaking out bad! How can I fix this?

I have oily skin too and I look for a moisturizer that is good for oily skin and use it whenever my skin gets dry.

Moisturize! Find an oil and fragrance free moisturizer that you can use after you've washed your face. Since the cleansers gets rid of all of the oils, it will naturally be drying, so it's important to use a good moisturizer after every wash.
