I have really thick medium length hair and I can never really do anything with it but put it up in a pony pail or braid it but usually when I do a braid some of my hair sticks out because I am growing out my bangs. I also try and straighten it but it takes forever because I have to do it in layers. I'm not very good at trying new hair style either. I try and look up new hair styles to do but either my hair won't work with that style or I just have no idea how to do it. Any ideas??

My hair is the same! I only have a couple layers but I feel your pain. I like to pin my hair to the side sometimes, or I like to bump it up and I think it looks really cute.

Thin it out. I do my own thinning at home with thinning sheers. Works wonders for really thick hair.

I had this same problem for ages my hair was sooo thick I couldn't do anything with it but I got it thinned at the hairdressers and it was brilliant my hair is much lighter and easier to manage I would definitely recommend getting your hair thinned next time you go to a hairdressers you trust :)
