Flip your head upside down and scrunch your hair with the leave-in conditioner and scrunch the roots. You want it wet and to part your hair before putting it in.

Air dry. Or dry with diffuser.

Blot dry hair. do not rub with towel or it will cause frizzies. comb through hair with fingers, this will keep curls shape and scrunch hair with hands from tip to roots. apply product while scrunching. that's the best way I have found to control my super curly hair.

I am a stylist and my hair is also curly. I use the deva curl products and a micro fiber towel like the turbie twist. you want to use micro fiber because it holds moisture in where terry cloth dries curls out. deva curl is a no suds shampoo and you leave the cond in the hair and add their gel over top of it then air dry. the products are sulfate free and have no drying ingredients. hope this helps!
