Ok so I've always bitten my nails but now I've stored and everytime I let them grow they are bendy and so weak!I drink tons of milk but it doesn't seem to help :-( I just wasn't beautiful nails (real nails)

I used to have the same problem so I started using a base coat with calcium in it. It really helps a lot and I stopped buffing my nails since they aren't very thick to begin with. I usually keep a coat of polish on them so they don't easily bend and break.

Buy a clear nail polish and put a garlic clove in it... Works wonder.

Calcium is a great start- but just like hair, nails need a baseline of good nutrition. As far as survival goes, fingernails aren't high priority for cellular growth. If you aren't getting enough vitamins and minerals, your body will redirect nutrients to more essential parts (like your brain!). Add in a variety of nuts, fruits and dark veggies and you'll notice an improvement in your nails and skin. :)
