Medusas are a pain in the ass, speaking from experience. I love mine but had I known how long it would take to heal I probably wouldn't have gotten it. because it's in a place that is easily irritated it slows the healing process. it swells up a lot too, it can be swollen for 3days to a week or longer. you can't smile properly because it feels like it's tearing. mine took 6 or so months to heal properly even with proper cleaning and care. it also leaves a noticeable hole when you take it out. make sure to think about all the pros/cons before getting a piercing and how it could affect you later on (:

I think you could pull off a hooped nose ring better then a medusa. I can just picture it more! it would look so cute!
