I havn't tried tons of shampoos and conditioners but two of my favorites are Herbal Essence & Down Under. You could always keep in mind that deep contioners and detox shampoos are great for your hair! I use Redkens.

Pretty much anything with sulfates is not going to be moisturizing enough for dry brittle hair! So if you can, go sulfate free! I recommend Paul Mitchell's Awapui - Wild Ginger line! Great shampoo, conditioner and a deep conditioner for when you need it!

John Freida for damaged hair (red bottles) and if you use a breakage serum that helps a lot! Also, a little bit of Horse shampoo is good but not for everyday use. I use these things ever weeks and my hair is damaged from dying and heat. I have been happy with the results I get from these products. (:

I would try it's a 10 with keratin... Had a client with dry brittle hair and it has worked wonders on her hair.

Try aveeno, they have a sulfate free shampoo now. They make my hair soft and smooth and it smells great! They're usually around $10 a bottle. Or use the sulfate free AG brand from the salon.
